All Faiths Unitarian Congregation is a welcoming, caring community, seeking diversity, practicing openness, and encouraging personal and spiritual growth. We are working toward a just, free, peaceful and compassionate world.

What We Believe

All Faiths Unitarian Congregation consists of people with varied faith heritages. That includes Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, atheist, agnostic, pagan and humanist backgrounds. As religious liberals, and as Unitarian Universalists, we place less emphasis on formal beliefs and more on practical living. We believe that ultimately, faith is not so much the creeds we say, as it is the lives we live, which is why we seek constantly to be involved in issues that matter.

Our members have been active in the struggle for racial equality, civil liberty, international peace, environmental justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and equal rights for all peoples. We work as individuals, in congregational social action, and partner with our local community and organizations. Plus, we support and assist other community organizations reaching out to the impoverished and oppressed, HIV/AIDS, poverty, homelessness, hunger, affordable housing, farmer's rights, domestic violence, and programs for marginalized youth.

Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote seven Principles, which we hold as strong values and moral guides.

Unitarian Universalist Principles

Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote seven Principles, which we hold as strong values and moral guides.

1.  The inherent worth and dignity of every person;

2.  Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;

3.  Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our  congregations;

4.  A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;

5.  The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our  congregations and in society at large;

6.  The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;

7.  Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

All Faiths Unitarian Congregation has adopted the 8th principle

8.  We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.
